Zephaniah 2:5
ତୁମ୍ଭେ କରେଥୀଯର ଲୋକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ନିକଟରେ ରହୁଛ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଅଟେ। ହେ କିଣାନ, ହେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କହେି ବଞ୍ଚିବେ ନାହିଁ।

| against is | עֲלֵיכֶ֗ם | ʿălêkem | uh-lay-HEM |
| you; O Canaan, | כְּנַ֙עַן֙ | kĕnaʿan | keh-NA-AN |
| land the | אֶ֣רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| of the Philistines, | פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים | pĕlištîm | peh-leesh-TEEM |
| destroy even will I | וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֖יךְ | wĕhaʾăbadtîk | veh-ha-uh-vahd-TEEK |
| thee, that there shall be no | מֵאֵ֥ין | mēʾên | may-ANE |
