Isaiah 37:38
ଦିନେ ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ ନିଷ୍ରୋଳ ନାମକ ଦବେତାର ଗୃହ ରେ ପୂଜା କଲା ବେଳେ ତା'ର ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ର ଅଦ୍ରମ୍ମଲକେ ଓ ଶ ରେତ୍ସର ତାକୁ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ବଧ କଲେ। ତା'ପ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଅରାରଟ ଦେଶକୁ ପଳାଯନ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ର ଏସରହଦ୍ଦୋନ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜତ୍ବ କଲା।

ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁ। ଏବଂ ସହେି ସମୟରୁ ଅଶୂରୀଯ ରାଜା ଏସର-ହଦ୍ଦୋନ୍, ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏଠାକୁ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବଳିଦାନ କରୁଅଛୁ।

ହିଜକିଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯେପରି ଦୁଃଖ ନ ମଣାଏ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦିଅ। ସେ କୁହନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ।' ମାତ୍ର କୌଣସି ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ଦବେତାଗଣ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କୌଣସି ଦବେତା କ'ଣ ଅଶୂରୀଯ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଆପଣା ଦେଶକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଅଛ ? ନା।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 36:15
ହିଜକିଯଙ୍କ କଥା ବିଶ୍ବାସ କର ନାହିଁ। 'ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରଖ। ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଶୂର ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ନଗର ଅଧିକାର କରିବାକୁ ଦବେେ ନାହିଁ।'
ଯିଶାଇୟ 14:12
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଭାତୀ ତାରା ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପତନ ଘଟିଛି। ଅତୀତ ରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ନତ ହେଉଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଛଦନେ କରାୟାଇଛି।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 14:9
ମୃତ୍ଯୁର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ପାତାଳ ଉେତ୍ତାଳିତ ହାଇପେଡ଼ିବ କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆସୁଛ। ପାତାଳ ସମସ୍ତ ଜୀବନ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ କରିବେ। ସହେି ନେତାମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ କାମ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ସହେି ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ ନୀଚାବସ୍ଥା କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସ୍ବାଗତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସତର୍କ ରହିବେ।
ଦିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 32:21
ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଶୂର ରାଜାର ଛାଉଣୀକୁ ଜଣେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସହେି ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତ ଅଶୂରର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳର ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ଯ, ନେତାଗଣ ଓ ସନୋଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ନିଜ ଗୃହକୁ ଓ ଦେଶକୁ ଫରେିଗଲା ଓ ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନେ ତା' ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲଜ୍ଜା ଅନୁଭବ କଲେ। ସେ ତାହାର ଦବେତାର ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଗଲା ଓ ତା'ର ନିଜର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ କେତଜେଣ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ତାହାକୁ ଏକ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ବଧ କଲେ।
ଦିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 32:19
ସହେି ସବେକଗଣ ଏପରି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ, ଯେପରି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ନିର୍ମିତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଅଟନ୍ତି।
ଦିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 32:14
ମାରେ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନେ ସହେି ଦେଶଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କଲେ। ଏପରି କହେି ଦବେତା ନାହିଁ, ୟିଏ ମାେତେ ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବାରୁ ରୋକି ପାରିବ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ଭାବୁଛ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାେ'ଠାରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିପାରିବ ?

ତେଣୁ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲା ଓ ନିନିବୀ ରେ ଅବସ୍ଥାନ କଲା।
