Genesis 45:21
ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ସହେିପରି କଲେ। ଫାରୋ କହିବା ଅନୁସାରେ ଯୋଷଫେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ଶକଟମାନ ଦେଲେ। ତାଙ୍କର ୟାତ୍ରା ପାଇଁ ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯମାନ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦେଲେ।

ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କ ବିଳାପ 1:18
ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ କ ହେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାକୁ ଅବଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛି। ହେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀସକଳ, ମୁଁ ବିନଯ କରୁଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶୁଣ ଓ ମାରେ ଦୁଃଖ ଦେଖ। ମାରେ ୟୁବକ, ୟୁବତୀମାନେ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ଅବସ୍ଥା ପାଇଛନ୍ତି।
ଉପଦେଶକ 8:2
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଉଛି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା ରାଜାଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି କର କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ତାହା କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛ।

ମାଶାେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରକାର ଆଦେଶ ଦଇେଥିଲେ, ଶଲୋମନ ସହେି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଦିନ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର, ଅମାବାସ୍ଯା ଉତ୍ସବ ଓ ତ୍ରଯବାର୍ଷିକ ଛୁଟିଦିବସ ଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରାଯାଉ ଥିଲା। ଏହି ତ୍ରଯବାର୍ଷିକ ଛୁଟିଦିବସଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଥିଲା ବିନା ଖମୀରର ତାଡ଼ିଶୂନ୍ଯ ରୋଟୀର ପର୍ବ, ସପ୍ତାହବ୍ଯାପି ପର୍ବ ଓ ଆଶ୍ରଯଦାୟକ ପର୍ବ।
