Genesis 33:2
ଯାକୁବ, ଆଲଗ ଦୁଇ ଦାସୀ ଓସସମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ତା' ପଲଛସଲୟା ଓ ତା'ର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ସବା ଶଲଷସର ରାଲହଲ ଓସଯାଲଷଫକୁ ରଖିଲଲ।

ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ବାର୍ଦ୍ଧକ୍ଯ ସମୟରେ ଜନ୍ମ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଯାକୁବ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ପାଉଥିଲେ। ଯାକୁବ ଯୋଷଫଙ୍କେୁ ଏକ ବିଶଷେ କୋଟ୍ ବା ଅଙ୍ଗରଖା ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ଯାହା ନାନା ରଙ୍ଗ ରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣିତ ଥିଲା।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ନିଜ ଲୋକ, ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ମୁଁ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଥାଏ ନ୍ଯାଯ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ। ମୁଁ ମାେ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ନହେ କରିବି ଯେପରି ଜଣେ ବାପା ତା'ର ଆଜ୍ଞାଧିନ ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ସ୍ନହେ କରେ।
