ଏଥି ରେ ରାଜା ସହେି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପୁସ୍ତକର ବାକ୍ଯ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରି ଆପଣା ଦୁଃଶ ଓ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତତା ଜଣାଇବାକୁ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଚିରିଲେ।

ଭୟଙ୍କର ଜିନିଷ ଏହି ନିବାସୀ ଓ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଘଟିବ। ଏହାଶୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୃଦଯ କୋମଳ ହେଲା। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଛାମୁ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ନମ୍ର କଲ ଓ ନିଜ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଚିରିଲ ଓ ମାେ ଛାମୁ ରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କଲ। ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିନତି ଶୁଣିଲି।'

ନିଜର ବସ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ନଫୋପାଡି ହୃଦଯକୁ ଚିର। ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରିଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେିଆସ। ସେ ଅତି ଦୟାଳୁ ଓ କରୁଣାମଯ। ସେ ହଠାତ୍ ରାଗନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ତାଙ୍କର ଅନନ୍ତ ପ୍ ରମେ ଅଛି। ସେ ହୁଏତ ତାଙ୍କର ମନକୁ ବଦଳାଇ ପାରନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁ କଠାେର ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋକୁ ଯୋଜନା କରିଥିଲେ ହୁଏତ ତାହା ଦଇେ ନପାରନ୍ତି।
ଯୂନସ 3:6
ନୀନିବୀର ରାଜା ଏ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଏବଂ ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଥିବା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଅନୁତାପ କଲେ। ରାଜା ସିଂହାସନ ଛାଡି ଦେଲେ। ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଦୁଃଖ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ୟାଇ ରାଜକୀଯ ପୋଷାକ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସାଧାରଣ ପୋଷାକ ପରିଧାନ କଲେ। ଅନୁତପ୍ତ ରାଜା ଧୂଳି ଉପ ରେ ବସି ପଡିଲେ।
