ଅନନ୍ତର ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜା ଇଦୋମ ଦେଶ ରେ ଲୋହିତ ସାଗର ତୀରସ୍ଥ ଏଲତ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଇତ୍ସିଯୋନ ଗବରେ ରେ ଜାହାଜମାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।

ଅମତ୍ସିଯ ନିଜ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣଙ୍କ ସହିତ କବର ନେଲେ। ତତ୍ପରେ ଅସରିଯ ଏଲତ୍ ନଗରକୁ ଦୃଢ କରି ତାହା ପୁନର୍ବାର ଯିହୁଦାର ଅଧିନକୁ ଆଣିଲେ।
ଦିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 8:11
ଶଲୋମନ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନଗରରୁ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର କନ୍ଯାଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ନିର୍ମିତ କରିଥିବା ଗୃହକୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ଶଲୋମନ କହିଲେ, ମାରେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ରେ ବାସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ାକାରଣ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବିଶଷେ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ଥିଲା, ତାହା ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଟେ।

ଏହାପରେ ଶଲୋମନ ଇତ୍ସିୟୋନ-ଗବରେ ଓ ଏଲତ ସହରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଲେ। ସହେି ସହରଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଇଦୋମ ଦେଶ ରେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ନିକଟରେ ଥିଲା।
