ଏହି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ଚିହ୍ନିପାରିବ : ଏକ ଆତ୍ମା କହିବ ଯେ, ମୁଁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରେ ଯେ ଯୀଶୁ ହିଁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ଏ ଜଗତକୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରି ଆସିଥିଲେ, ସହେି ଆତ୍ମା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆଗତ।

ସହେି ବାକ୍ଯ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ହେଲେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାସ କଲେ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ମହିମା ଦେଖିଲୁ, ଏହି ମହିମା ପରମପିତାଙ୍କ ଏକମାତ୍ର ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କର ଥିଲା। ସହେି ବାକ୍ଯ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଓ ସତ୍ଯ ରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲେ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସତ୍ଯମୟ ଆତ୍ମା ଆସିବେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସେ ତୁମକୁ ସମସ୍ତ ସତ୍ଯ ପଥରେ କଢାଇନବେେ। ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିଜର କଥା କହିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ କବଳେ ଯାହା ଶୁଣିବେ, ତାହା କହିବେ। ସେ ତୁମକୁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତର ଘଟଣା ବିଷୟ ରେ କହିବେ।

ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ପିତା ତାହାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ତାହାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ପିତା ମଧ୍ଯ ଅଛନ୍ତି।

ଅନ୍ୟ ଆତ୍ମା ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଏପରି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସହେି ଆତ୍ମା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସି ନାହିଁ, ସମାନେେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ଶତ୍ରୁ। ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁ ଆସିବା ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଛ ଏବଂ ସେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଏହି ସଂସାର ଭିତ ରେ ରହିଛି।

ଯୀଶୁ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ବୋଲି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ପରମ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରୁଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତାହାଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ପ୍ ରମେ କରେ।
