1 Chronicles 15:12
ଦାଉଦ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଲବେୀ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ନେତା ଅଟ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ନିଜକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରିବା ନିତାନ୍ତ ଆବଶ୍ଯକ। ଏହାପରେ ମୁଁ ନିଯମସିନ୍ଦୁକ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହାକୁ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିବ।

ତେଣୁ ମାଶାେ ପର୍ବତରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ, ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଧୌତ କରି ନିଜକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କଲେ।
ଦିତୀୟ ବଂଶାବଳୀ 30:15
ଏହାପରେ ସମାନେେ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ମାସର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶତମ ଦିନ ରେ ନିସ୍ତାରପର୍ବର ମଷେଶାବକଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ। ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ହାମବେଳି ଉପହାର ଆଣିଲେ।

ସେଥିପାଇଁ ହେ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ! ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜର ଜୀବନକୁ, ଏକ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ବଳିଦାନ ସ୍ବରୂପ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଅର୍ପଣ କର।ଏହା କବଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପିତ ହବେ। ଏହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଅତି ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ କରିବ। ଏହି ସମର୍ପଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମୀକ ଉପାସନା ଅଟେ।

ହିଜକିଯ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ସଭା ରେ ସମ୍ମିଳିତ କରାଇଲେ। ମନ୍ଦିରର ପୂର୍ବ ପାଶର୍ବସ୍ଥ ଉନ୍ମୁକ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣ ରେ ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଏକ ସଭା କଲେ।

ସମସ୍ତ ଯାଜକଗଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ବିଶଷେ ଦଳଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଖାତିର ନ କରି ନିଜକୁ ଶୁଚି କଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ।

ସମାନେେ ବିଶଷେ କର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋନୀତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆତ୍ମୀଯ, ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଗୁଳାବାଣ୍ଟ କଲେ। ଯାଜକମାନେ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ବଂଶଧର ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦ, ସାଦୋକ, ଅହୀମଲକେ, ଯାଜକ ଏବଂ ଲବେୀୟ ବଂଶର ନେତାମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଗୁଳାବାଣ୍ଟ କଲେ। ଜେଷ୍ଠ ପରିବାର ଓ କନିଷ୍ଠ ପରିବାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେତବେେଳେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସ୍ଥିର କରାଗଲା, ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ସମାନ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରାଗଲା।

ଏହାପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିଯମସିନ୍ଦକକୁ ବହି ନଇୟିବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯାଜକ ଓ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ନିଜକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କଲେ।

ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ନିଯମସିନ୍ଦୁକକୁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ବହିନବୋ ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦ କହିଲେ।

ଦାଉଦ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦ ନଗର ରେ ଗୃହମାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ସେ ନିଯମସିନ୍ଦୁକ ରଖିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ସେ ସେଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ତମ୍ବୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ।

ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରିବାରର ଇତିହାସ ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହି ଲବେୀୟଗଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରିବାରର ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ପରିବାରର ମୁଖ୍ଯ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ।
