ପୁଣି ରାଜଗୃହାଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ଇଲିଯାକୀମକୁ, ଲେଖକ ଶିବନ୍କୁ ଓ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗକୁ ଅଖା ଘୋଡାଇ ଆମାେସର ପୁତ୍ର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ଯିଶାଇୟ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

ଯିଶାଇୟ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ମହାଶୟ ହିଜିକିଯଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସମ୍ବାଦ ଦିଅ, 'ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଅଶୂରୀଯ ରାଜାର ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିନ୍ଦା କରିବାର କଥା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣି ଅଛ, ସେ କଥା ରେ ଭୀତ ହୁଅନାହିଁ।

ଏହାପରେ ଆମାେସର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିଶାଇୟ ହିଜକିଯଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ କହି ପଠାଇଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ ହରେୀବ୍ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଲୁ।'

ସେ ସମୟରେ ହିଜକିଯ ଅସୁସ୍ଥ ହେଲେ ଏବଂ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବା ଉପରେ ହେଲେ। ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଯିଶାଇୟ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୋଟିଏ ଇଚ୍ଛା, ପରିବାର ସଭ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲେଖ କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ମରିବ।'

ଯିଶାଇୟ ଗ୍ରାମର ମଧ୍ଯଭାଗକୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ,

ତ'ପରେ ଯିଶାଇୟ କହିଲେ, ଏକ ଡିମ୍ବିରି ମିଶ୍ରଣ ତିଆରି କର ଓ କ୍ଷତ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଲଗାଅ।

ହିଜକିଯ ଯିଶାଇୟଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ ମାେତେ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କରିବେ ଓ ତୃତୀୟ ଦିନ ରେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ୟିବି, ଏହାର କି ସୂଚନା ଅଛି?

ତହୁଁ ଯିଶାଇୟ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ସୂଚନା ଚାହୁଁଛ? ଛାଯା କ'ଣ ଦଶ ପାହୁଣ୍ତ ଆଗକୁ କିମ୍ବା ଦଶ ପାହୁଣ୍ତ ପଛକୁ ୟିବ ? ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏହି ଚିହ୍ନ ହବେ। ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ସଫଳ କରିବେ।

ତା'ପରେ ଯିଶାଇୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ। ଏଥି ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଛାଯା କଲେ ଯେ, ଦଶ ପାଉଣ୍ତ ଆଗକୁ ୟାଇ ପଛକୁ ଘୁଞ୍ଚି ଆସିଲ।
