ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦଶା ସମୟରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତକ ଲୋକଠା ରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯଯେ, ଭଗ୍ନଦନ୍ତ ଓ ଖଞ୍ଜଖସା ଚରଣ ତୁଲ୍ଯ।

Isaiah 36:6
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କ'ଣ ଭଗ୍ନ ୟଷ୍ଟି ସଦୃଶ ମିଶର ଉପ ରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରୁଛ ? ତାହା ଯଦି କରୁଥାଅ ତବେେ ସେ ହାତ ରେ ଫୋଡ଼ି ହାଇୟୋଇ କଣା କରିଦବେ। ମିଶରର ରାଜା ଫାରୋ ଉପ ରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରଖନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ କିଛି ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇବେ ନାହିଁ।
Ezekiel 29:6
ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟେ ଏହା ମିଶର ନିବାସୀ ସମସ୍ତେ ଜାଣିବେ। 'କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶ ପ୍ରତି ଏକ ନାଳର ଆଶାବାଡ଼ି ହାଇେଅଛନ୍ତି।

ପ୍ରଥମଥର ନିଜକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ଅଦାଲତ ରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲା ବେଳେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ମାେତେ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିବାକୁ ଆଗଇେ ଆସି ନ ଥିଲା। ସମସ୍ତେ ମାେତେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଚାଲିଗଲେ। ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରେ ଯେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ୍ଷମା କରନ୍ତୁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେ ସହିତ ଥିଲେ।
