ଗୀତସଂହିତା 57

1 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମାେ ଉପରେ ଦୟାକର। ମାେ ଉପରେ ଦୟାକର, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସେ। ବିପଦ ବହିୟିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପକ୍ଷର ଛାଯାରେ ଶରଣ ନବୋକୁ ଆସିଛି।

2 ମୁଁ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବି। ଏବଂ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ !

3 ସେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ମାେତେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମାେତେ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ କରନ୍ତି। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବର୍ଗୀଯ ପ୍ରମେ ଓ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି।

4 ମାରେ ଜୀବନ ସଙ୍କଟପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ମାରେ ଚତୁଃପାଶର୍‌ବରେ ଘରେି ରହିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମଣିଷ ଖିଆ ସିଂହ ପରି। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦାନ୍ତ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଓ ବାଣ ତୁଲ୍ଯ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଜିହ୍ବା ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ମ ଖଡ୍ଗ ତୁଲ୍ଯ।

5 ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ଉପରେ ଜାଗି ଉଠ। ସମୁଦାଯ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳ ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମହିମା ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହେଉ।

6 ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ମାେତେ ଫାନ୍ଦରେ ପକାଇବାକୁ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଜାଲ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବଡ଼ ଗାତ ଖାେଳିଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ ନିଜେ ସେଥିରେ ପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି।

7 ମାରେ ହୃଦଯ ସ୍ଥିର ଅଟେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାରେ ହୃଦଯ ସ୍ଥିର ଅଟେ। ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଓ ଗାନ କରିବି।

8 ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ, ହେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣ !ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ ! ନବେଲ ଓ ବୀଣା, ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ ଓ ମୁଁ ଅତି ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହବେି।

9 ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୁଣଗାନ କରିବି। ମୁଁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଜାତିଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରଶଂସାର ଗୀତ ଗାଇବି।

10 ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରମେ ଆକାଶ ପରି ଉଚ୍ଚ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ବସନୀଯତା ମେଘମାଳାକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରୁଛି।

11 ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ଉପରେ ଉଠ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ମହିମା ସାରାପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରୁ।

2 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

3 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

4 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

5 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

6 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

7 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.

8 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.

9 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

10 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.

11 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.

12 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.

இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமும், அவருடைய விளைவின் முதற்பலனுமாயிருந்தது; அதைப் பட்சித்த அனைவரும் குற்றவாளிகளானார்கள்; பொல்லாப்பு அவர்கள்மேல் வந்ததென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கான பரிசுத்த அன்பளிப்பாக இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் கர்த்தரால் சேகரிக்கப்பட்ட முதல்கனியாக இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் காயப்படுத்த முயலும் எவரும் குற்றவாளியாகத் தீர்க்கப்படுவார்கள். அத்தீயவர்களுக்குக் கெட்டவை ஏற்படும் என்று சொல்” என்றார். இந்த வார்த்தை கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வந்தது.
