ଧାର୍ମିକର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେଲେ, ନଗର ଆନନ୍ଦ କରେ। ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବିନାଶ ହେଲେ ଜଯଧ୍ବନି ହୁଏ।

| the city | תַּעֲלֹ֣ץ | taʿălōṣ | ta-uh-LOHTS |
| rejoiceth: | קִרְיָ֑ה | qiryâ | keer-YA |
| and when the wicked | וּבַאֲבֹ֖ד | ûbaʾăbōd | oo-va-uh-VODE |
| perish, | רְשָׁעִ֣ים | rĕšāʿîm | reh-sha-EEM |
