Matthew 8:32
ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ଯାଅ! ତେଣୁ ଭୂତମାନେ ମଣିଷଙ୍କ ଦହରେୁ ବାହାରି ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ଦହକେୁ ଚାଲିଗଲେ। ତାପରେ ସହେି ଘୁଷୁରିପଲ ତୀଖ ପାହାଡରୁ ତଳକୁ ଗଡିଯାଇ ଶଷେ ରେ ହ୍ରଦ ରେ ବୁଡିଗଲେ।

ଆପଣ ସବୁବେଳେ ଆୟୁବକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି। ତା'ର ପରିବାରକୁ, ତା'ର ଯାହା କିଛି ନିଜର, ସବୁକୁ ଆପଣ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସେ ଯେଉଁ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରେ ସବୁଥି ରେ ଆପଣ ତାକୁ କୃତକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରାନ୍ତି। ହଁ, ଆପଣ ତାକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସବୁଥି ରେ ସେ ଏତେ ଧନୀ ଯେ, ତା'ର ମଷେପଲ ଓ ଗୋପଲ ସାରଦେଶ ରେ ଥିଲେ।

ତା'ପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶଯତାନକୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସବେକ ଆୟୁବକୁ ଦେଖିଛ କି ? ଆୟୁବ ଭଳି ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଏ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ କହେି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ଆୟୁବ ଜଣେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି। ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ କବଳେ ଉପାସନା କରେ ଓ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ବାରଣ କରେ। ସେ ଏବେ ମଧ୍ଯ ନିର୍ଦ୍ ଦୋଷ ଯଦିଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା'ର ବିନା କାରଣ ରେ ସମସ୍ତ ବସ୍ତୁକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମାେତେ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଥିଲ।

ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଏପରି କରିବାକୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦଇେ ଦେଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟାତ୍ମାମାନେ ସହେି ଲୋକଟି ଦହରେୁ ବାହାରି ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ଦହେ ରେ ପଶିଗଲେ। ସହେି ଘୁଷୁରି ପଲ ରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଘୁଷୁରି ଥିଲେ। ସେ ସବୁତକ ଘୁଷୁରି ପାହାଡ କଡକୁ ଖୁବ୍ ବଗେ ରେ ଧାଇଁଲେ ଓ ହ୍ରଦ ଭିତ ରେ ପଡି ଗଲେ। ସବୁତକ ଘୁଷୁରି ପାଣି ରେ ବୁଡିଗଲେ।

ତା'ପରେ ଭୂତମାନେ ଲୋକଟି ଦହରେୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ ଓ ଘୁଷୁରିମାନଙ୍କ ଦହକେୁ ଚାଲିଗଲେ। ଦଳକଯାକ ଘୁଷୁରି ସହେି ପାହାଡ ଉପରୁ ହ୍ରଦ ଭିତରକୁ ଦୌଡିଗଲେ ଓ ସମସ୍ତେ ବୁଡିଗଲେ।

ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଏକତ୍ର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କଲେ ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯୋଜନାକୁ ସଫଳ କଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇଚ୍ଛା ଓ ଶକ୍ତି ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହା ଘଟିଲା।
