ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ମାେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏକାଠି ଏହି ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏକାନ୍ତ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିଥିଲିା

ସେତବେେଳେ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ନିସ୍ତାର ପର୍ବ ସମୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ହାଇଯୋଇଥିଲା। ଯୀଶୁ ଜାଣିଥିଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜଗତକୁ ଛାଡି ୟିବାର ସମୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହାଇଗେଲାଣି। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପରମପିତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେିଯିବେ। ସେ ସବୁବେଳେ ଏହି ଜଗତ ରେ ଥିବା ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିଜର ହାଇଯୋଇଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭଲ ପାଉଥିଲେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଗଭୀର ଓ ଚୁଡାନ୍ତ ପ୍ ରମେ ଦଖାଇେଥିଲେ।

ଯୀଶୁ ଏସମସ୍ତ କଥା କହିସାରିବା ପରେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ଆଡେ ଚାହିଁଲେ। ସେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥାନା କଲେ, ହେ ପରମପିତା, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସମୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହାଇେଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବାନ୍ବିତ କରିଦିଅ, ଯେପରି ପୁତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଗୌରବନ୍ବିତ ଦଇେ ପାରିବେ।
