ଯିରିମିୟ 34:5
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ପରି ଓ ପୂର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଶାନ୍ତି ରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବ। ଯେପରି ସୁଗନ୍ଧ ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଜାଳି ଥିଲେ, ସହେିପରି ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ସୁଗନ୍ଧ ଜାଳିବେ। ପୁଣି ହାୟ ପ୍ରଭୋ ! ହାୟ ପ୍ରଭୋ ! କହି ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ବିଳାପ କରିବେ।' କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା କହିଅଛୁ।

| which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| were | הָי֣וּ | hāyû | ha-YOO |
| before | לְפָנֶ֗יךָ | lĕpānêkā | leh-fa-NAY-ha |
| thee, so | כֵּ֚ן | kēn | kane |
| burn they shall | יִשְׂרְפוּ | yiśrĕpû | yees-reh-FOO |
| odours for thee; and they will lament | לָ֔ךְ | lāk | lahk |
| Ah saying, thee, | וְה֥וֹי | wĕhôy | veh-HOY |
| lord! | אָד֖וֹן | ʾādôn | ah-DONE |
| for | יִסְפְּדוּ | yispĕdû | yees-peh-DOO |
