ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ହିଜକିଯଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ମେ ରେଷ୍ଟୀଯର ମୀଖା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କଲା, ଆଉ ସେ ଯିହୁଦାର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲା,

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୁଣି କୁହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସିୟୋନକୁ ଫରେି ଆସିଛୁ ଏବଂ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ମଧିଅରେ ବାସ କରିବା। ୟିରୁଶାଲମ 'ସତ୍ଯର ନଗରୀ' ବୋଲି କୁହାୟିବ। ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ୍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପର୍ବତକୁ ପବିତ୍ର ବୋଲି କୁହାୟିବ।

ହେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସିୟୋନ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେ। ଏହା ଗ୍ଭଷ ଭୂମିରେ ପରିଣତ ହବେ। ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ମଧ୍ଯ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ସ୍ତୁପ ରେ ପରିଣତ ହବେ। ମନ୍ଦିରର ପର୍ବତ ଶୂନ୍ଯ ପାହାଡ ହାଇେ ବଣବୁଦା ରେ ଆବୃତ ହବେ।
ମୀଖା 1:1
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାଣୀ ମୀଖାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଥିଲା। ଯୋଥମ, ଆହସ ଓ ହିଜକିଯ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଏହି ବାଣୀ ଆସିଥିଲା। ଏମାନେ ସବୁ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ ଓ ମୀଖା ଥିଲେ ମାେ ରେଷ୍ଟୀଯ। ସେ ଶମରିଯା ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଏହି ଦର୍ଶନ ଲାଭ କଲେ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 17:3
ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ପର୍ବତ ସକଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମୁଦାଯ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ରେ କୃତ ପାପ ସକାେଶ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଓ ସବୁ ଧନଭଣ୍ଡାର ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ସକଳ ଲୁଣ୍ଠିତ ହବୋପାଇଁ ଦବୋ।

ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଢ଼ିପି ଓ ଶୃଗାଳମାନଙ୍କ ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା। ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦାର ନଗରସମୂହକୁ ନିର୍ଜନ ଧ୍ବଂସସ୍ଥାନ କରିବା।

ଶଷେ ଦିନ ରେ ଏହା ହିଁ ଘଟିବ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ମନ୍ଦିରର ପର୍ବତ ଉଚ୍ଚତମ ଶିଖର ରେ ହବେ। ଏହା ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ପାହାଡ଼ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମଧିଅରେ ଉଚ୍ଚତର ହବେ। ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଲୋକମାନେ ସୋର୍ତ ସଦୃଶ ସଠାେକୁ ଧାବିତ ହବେେ।

ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦେଶକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ମନ୍ଦିର ଅଶୁଚି କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଧ୍ବସ୍ତ ବିଧ୍ବସ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ତା'ପ ରେ ବାବିଲ ଏକ ଧ୍ବଂସ ସ୍ତୁପ ରେ ପରିଣତ ହବେ ଏବଂ ତାହା ଶୃଗାଳମାନଙ୍କର ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ହବେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହା ଦେଖି ଆତଙ୍କିତ ହବେେ ଏବଂ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଏହା ଦେଖିବେ 'ହିସ୍' ଶବ୍ଦ କରିବେ। କାରଣ ସେ ନିର୍ଜନ ସ୍ଥାନ ହବେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଏହା ଶୁଣିନାହଁ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର କ'ଣ କହିଲେ, ଯେ କିପରି ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୁରାତନ କାଳରୁ ଏହା ନିରୂପଣ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ପୂର୍ବ କାଳରୁ ଏହା ସ୍ଥିର କରିଅଛୁଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ନଗରମାନ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରି ସେ ସବୁକୁ ଢିପ କରିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଘଟିବା ପାଇଁ କରିଛୁ।
