ସାତଦିନ ଗଲାପରେ ନୋହ ଜାହାଜରୁ ପୂନର୍ବାର କପୋତକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ କପୋତ ଆଉ ଫରେିଲା ନାହିଁ।

ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନ ରେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସୃଷ୍ଟିର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଜିନିଷକୁ ସମାପ୍ତ କଲେ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯରୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ନେଲେ।

ଏହି ଦର୍ଶନ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଅଟେ। ଏହା ଶଷେ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ ରେ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଦିଏ ଏବଂ ଏହା ମିଥ୍ଯା ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ। ଯେପରି ଜଣାୟିବ ଏହି ସମୟ କବେେ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ ଧରି ଅପେକ୍ଷା କର, ସେ ସମୟ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ଆସିବ। ଏହା ଅଧିକ ବିଳମ୍ବ ହବେନାହିଁ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 30:18
ସେଥି ସକାେଶ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବେ। ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୟା କରିବାକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ ହବେେ। କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନ୍ଯାଯ ବିଚାରକାରୀ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟନ୍ତି। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି ସେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଧନ୍ଯ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 26:8
ମାତ୍ର ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶାସନ ମାର୍ଗର ନ୍ଯାଯକୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଛୁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ତୁମ୍ଭର ନାମକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ।
ଯିଶାଇୟ 25:9
ସେତବେେଳେ ଲୋକେ ଏହି କଥା କହିବେ, ଏହି ଆମର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବହୁତ ସମୟ ଧରି ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛୁଁ। ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି। ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦୃଢ଼ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବୁ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।'

ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବି। ଯେତବେେଳେ ଯାକୁବ ପରିବାରରୁ ସେ ଆପଣାର ମୁଖ ଲୁଚାନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ଆଶା ରଖିବି, ମୁଁ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବି।
ଗୀତସଂହିତା 130:5
ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସାହାୟ୍ଯକୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଛି। ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଚାହିଁ ରହିଛି। ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯରେ ଭରସା ରଖିଛି।
