ସସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଗସର ଯାକୁବ ଗଲା,ସସସଯଲତଲବଲଳ ଭାଇର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀସହଲା। ଭକ୍ତିସଦଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଯାକୁବ ସାତଥର ଭୂମିଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲା।

ସହେି ସମୟରେ ମିଶର ରେ ଯୋଷଫେ ଅଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମିଶରରୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଶସ୍ଯ କ୍ରଯ କରୁଥିଲେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଯୋଷଫେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ବିକ୍ରୀ କରୁଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଯୋଷଫେର ଭାଇମାନେ ଆସିଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମୁଖ ଭୂମି ଆଡ଼କୁ କରି ଯୋଷଫେକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ।

ସେ ସବୁ ମଷେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାରକୁ ଆଣେ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଆଗେ ଆଗେ ଚାଲେ ଓ ମଷେମାନେ ତାହାର ଅନୁସରଣ କରନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ମଷେମାନେ ତା'ର ସ୍ବର ଜାଣନ୍ତି।

ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ନିଜକୁ ମହାନ ଭାବେ, ତାକୁ ହୀନ କରି ଦିଆୟିବ। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ନିଜକୁ ହୀନ ଭାବେ, ତାହାକୁ ମହାନ୍ କରାୟିବ।
ଉପଦେଶକ 10:4
କାରଣ ଜଣେ ଶାସକ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପ ରେ ରାଗିଛନ୍ତି, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପଳାଇୟାଅ ନାହିଁ। ଏକ ଶାନ୍ତି ଆତ୍ମା ମହାଭୁଲ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିପା ରେ। କାରଣ ଅଧିନତା ସ୍ବୀକାର ଦ୍ବାରା ମହା ଅନିଷ୍ଟ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହୁଏ।
ହିତୋପଦେଶ 6:3
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଏଥିରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର। ଯେ ହତେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଧୁର ହସ୍ତଗତ ହାଇେଅଛ। ୟାଅ ଆପଣାକୁ ନମ୍ରକରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀକି ବାରମ୍ବାର ବୀନତି କର। ସେ ଋଣରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରୁ।

ଯେଉଁମାନେ, ବେଶି ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଉଥିଲେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିବେ। ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଅଭାବରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯେଉଁମାନେ କ୍ଷକ୍ସ୍ଟଧାର୍ତ୍ତ ଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ବନ୍ଧ୍ଯା ସଲ୍ଗ ସନ୍ତାନ ପ୍ରସବ କରିଅଛି ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକଟି ଯାହାର ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ସନ୍ତାନ ଥିଲା ସେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖିତା ହାଇେଅଛି।
