ମାରେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଏବଂ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଖ ରେ କାମ କରିଛି। ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣ ମୁଁ ଭଲଭାବରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସ ସବୋ କରିଛି।

ଲାବନ କହିଲା, ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ବିବାହ କରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିବାହ କଲେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭଲ ହବେ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ସହିତ ରୁହ।

ଯାକୁବ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିଛି। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଶୁଗଣକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିଅଛି। ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ବହୁ ଯତ୍ନ ନଇେଅଛି।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉଭୟ ଜାଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପାରୁପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଖଟିଛି।

ଲାବନ ଯାକୁବକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମାେତେ ପ୍ରତାରଣା କଲ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମାରେ ଝିଅମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ବନ୍ଦୀପରି ନଇଗେଲ?

ଯାକୁବ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନ କହି ପଳାଇ ଆସିଲି କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୟ କରୁଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ଭାବିଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାଠାରୁେ ଦୂ ରଇେ ନବେ।

ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିଅଛି। ସହେି ସମସ୍ତ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଷେ ଓ ଛଳେିଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଗର୍ଭପାତ ହାଇନୋହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ମୁଁ ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଖାଇୟାଇ ନାହିଁ।
