Genesis 28:8
ଏଷୌ ଏକଥା ଜାଣିଲେ ଯେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ଚାହୁଁ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର କିଣାନୀଯ କନ୍ଯାକୁ ବିବାହ କରନ୍ତୁ।

ଇସ୍ହାକ ଯାକୁବକୁ ଡ଼ାକି ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଦେଲେ। ଏହି ଆଜ୍ଞାଦଇେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିଣାନୀଯ କନ୍ଯାକୁ ବିବାହ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

ତେଣୁ ବଯସ୍କ ଭଦ୍ରବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନେ ନତେୃତ୍ବ ପାଇଁ ଜଣେ ରାଜା ଚାହିଁଲେ। ଶାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଯଲେ ଏହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏକ ଭକ୍ସ୍ଟଲ ଚିନ୍ତାଧାରା ବୋଲି ଭାବିଲେ। ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଶାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଯଲେ ପରମେଶଓରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ।
