Exodus 1:16
ରାଜା କହିଲେ, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏବ୍ରୀଯା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କର ଧାତ୍ରୀ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିଲା ଜନ୍ମ କରିବା ରେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବ, ପୁତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ଥିଲେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମାରିଦବେ ଓ କନ୍ଯା ସନ୍ତାନ ହେଲେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଜୀବିତ ରଖିବ।

କୃଷକମାନେ ପୁଅକୁ ଦେଖି ନିଜ ନିଜ ଭିତ ରେ କୁହା କୁହି ହେଲେ, 'ଏ ହେଉଛି ଜମିମାଲିକଙ୍କ ପୁଅ। ସେ ଏ ଜମିର ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ତାକୁ ମାରିଦବୋ, ଏହି ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭର ହାଇଯେିବ।'

ତାହାର ଲାଙ୍ଗୁଳ ଆକାଶର ତାରାଗଣ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଏକତୃତୀଯାଂଶ ତାରାକୁ ଟାଣିଆଣି ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କଲା। ସହେି ସାପ, ପ୍ରସବ କରିବାକୁ ଯାଇଥିବା ସହେି ନାରୀଙ୍କ ସାମନା ରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେ ରହିଲା। ତାହାଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ ଜନ୍ମ ହବୋ ମାତ୍ ରେ ତାହାକୁ ଖାଇବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ସେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହାଇଗେଲା।
