Deuteronomy 18:16
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପବିତ୍ର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇବେ। କାରଣ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭମାନେ ଏପରି କରିବାକୁ କହିଥିଲ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ହାରେବେ ପର୍ବତ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହାଇେଥିଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିଥିଲ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯମେନ୍ତ ମରକ୍ସ୍ଟ, 'ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟନର୍ବାର ନ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ କିଅବା ଏହି ମହାଗ୍ନି ଆଉ ଯେପରି ନ ଦେଖକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ନଚେତ୍ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସବୁ ମରିୟିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ।'

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପବିତ୍ର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇବେ। କାରଣ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭମାନେ ଏପରି କରିବାକୁ କହିଥିଲ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ହାରେବେ ପର୍ବତ ନିକଟରେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହାଇେଥିଲ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିଥିଲ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯମେନ୍ତ ମରକ୍ସ୍ଟ, 'ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟନର୍ବାର ନ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ କିଅବା ଏହି ମହାଗ୍ନି ଆଉ ଯେପରି ନ ଦେଖକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ନଚେତ୍ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସବୁ ମରିୟିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ।'
