Acts 28:11
ଆମ୍ଭେ ତିନି ମାସ ପରେ ଆଲକଜୋଣ୍ଡ୍ରିଆ ନଗରୀ ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଜାହାଜ ରେ ଚ଼ଢ଼ି ପୁଣି ଯାତ୍ରା କଲୁ। ତା'ର ନାମ ମିଥୁନ ଥିଲା। ଏହି ଜାହାଜଟି ମଲେିତୀ ଦ୍ବୀପରେ ଶୀତକାଳ ବିତାଇଥିଲା।

ଲୋକମାନେ ବୁଡି ଯାଉଥିବା ନେ ୗକାକୁ ହାଲୁକା କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ନେ ୗକା ରେ ବୋଝଇେ ହାଇେଥିବା ମାଲକୁ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଫିଙ୍ଗିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। ନାବିକମାନେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହାଇେ ପଡିଲେ। ସମସ୍ତେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଇଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ।

ଯେତବେେଳେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହା ଦେଖିଲେ ସମାନେେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହାଇେ ପଡିଲେ ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉପାସନା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ବଳି ଦେଲେ ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମାନସିକ କରି ଶପଥ କଲେ।

କେତକେ ଯିହୂଦୀ ଆସି ସ୍ତିଫାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟୁକ୍ତିତର୍କ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ କୁରୀଣୀୟ, ଲିବର୍ତ୍ତାନ, କିଲିକାଆ ଓ ଏସିଆ ଦେଶର ଯିହୂଦୀ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ଆଲକଜୋଣ୍ଡ୍ରୀୟ ସମାଜଗୃହର ସଭ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ।

ଅତଏବ ମାଂସ ଖାଇବା ବିଷୟ ରେ ମୁଁ ଏହା କ ହେ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ଯେ ଜଗତ ରେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ପ୍ରତିମା ବୋଲି କିଛି ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ଯେ ଜଣେ ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଛନ୍ତି।
