1 ବିଚାରକଗଣ !ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନ୍ଯାଯ ଭାବରେ କୁହ କି ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଧର୍ମ ବିଚାର କର କି ?
2 ନା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବଳେ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜେ ଏହି ଦେଶରେ ଅପରାଧ କରୁଛି।
3 ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଜନ୍ମ ହବୋ ମାତ୍ରେ ବିପଥଗାମୀ। ସମାନେେ ଜନ୍ମଠାରୁ ମିଥ୍ଯାବାଦୀ।
4 ସମାନଙ୍କେର କୋର୍ଧ ସର୍ପର ବିଷତୁଲ୍ଯ ବିପଦପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ଆଉ ନାଗସାପ ପରି ୟିଏ ଶୁଣିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ, ସମାନେେ ସତ କଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ବାରଣ କରନ୍ତି।
5 ସାପୁଆକଳୋମାନଙ୍କର ବାଦ୍ଯ କିଅବା ଗୀତକୁ ନାଗସାପ ଶୁଣି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ସହେି ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେିପରି, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମନ୍ଦ ଯୋଜନା କରନ୍ତି।
6 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଂହ ପରି। ତଣେୁ ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦାନ୍ତସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦିଅ।
7 ସମାନେେ ବହନ୍ତା ଜଳପରି ଅନ୍ତର୍ଦ୍ଧାନ ହାଇେ ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ। ରାସ୍ତାର ଘାସ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ପଦଦଳିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।
8 ଶାମୁକା ଗତି କଲା ବେଳେ ତରଳି ୟିବା ପରି ସମାନେେ ତରଳି ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ। ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯା ଲୋକ ଦେଖି ନ ଥିବା ମୃତବସ୍ଥାରେ ଜନ୍ମଲାଭ କରିଥିବା ସନ୍ତାନ ପରି ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।
9 ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତା କଣ୍ଟା ହାଣ୍ଡିକୁ ଗଲାପରି ସମାନେେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଧ୍ବଂସ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
10 ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହବୋର ଦେଖେ, ସେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହବେ।
11 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏପରି ଘଟେ, ଲୋକମାନେ କହିବେ, ଏଣୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ୟାହା ଧାର୍ମିକ ତାହା କରନ୍ତି, ସତରେ ପୁରସ୍କୃତ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସତରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଛନ୍ତି, ୟିଏ ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତି।

2 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
3 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
4 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
5 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
6 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
7 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
8 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
9 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
10 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
11 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
12 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

1 ବିଚାରକଗଣ !ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନ୍ଯାଯ ଭାବରେ କୁହ କି ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଧର୍ମ ବିଚାର କର କି ?

4 ସମାନଙ୍କେର କୋର୍ଧ ସର୍ପର ବିଷତୁଲ୍ଯ ବିପଦପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ଆଉ ନାଗସାପ ପରି ୟିଏ ଶୁଣିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ, ସମାନେେ ସତ କଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ବାରଣ କରନ୍ତି।

5 ସାପୁଆକଳୋମାନଙ୍କର ବାଦ୍ଯ କିଅବା ଗୀତକୁ ନାଗସାପ ଶୁଣି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ସହେି ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକମାନେ ସହେିପରି, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମନ୍ଦ ଯୋଜନା କରନ୍ତି।
Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
6 ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ସିଂହ ପରି। ତଣେୁ ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦାନ୍ତସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦିଅ।
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
7 ସମାନେେ ବହନ୍ତା ଜଳପରି ଅନ୍ତର୍ଦ୍ଧାନ ହାଇେ ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ। ରାସ୍ତାର ଘାସ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ପଦଦଳିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।
Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
8 ଶାମୁକା ଗତି କଲା ବେଳେ ତରଳି ୟିବା ପରି ସମାନେେ ତରଳି ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ। ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯା ଲୋକ ଦେଖି ନ ଥିବା ମୃତବସ୍ଥାରେ ଜନ୍ମଲାଭ କରିଥିବା ସନ୍ତାନ ପରି ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।
As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
9 ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତା କଣ୍ଟା ହାଣ୍ଡିକୁ ଗଲାପରି ସମାନେେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଧ୍ବଂସ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
10 ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସହେି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହବୋର ଦେଖେ, ସେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହବେ।
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏପରି ଘଟେ, ଲୋକମାନେ କହିବେ, ଏଣୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ୟାହା ଧାର୍ମିକ ତାହା କରନ୍ତି, ସତରେ ପୁରସ୍କୃତ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସତରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଛନ୍ତି, ୟିଏ ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପରେ ବିଚାର କରନ୍ତି।
So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
