ଯାକୁବ ଜାଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲା ଯେ, ସହେି ୟୁବକ ଦୀଣା ଉପରେ ଅପମାନ ଆଣିଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯାକୁବର ସମସ୍ତ ପୁଅମାନେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ପଶୁପଲଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଥିଲେ। ସେ କିଛି କଲା ନାହିଁ, ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଫରେିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କଲ।
