ଅଦ୍ଦୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଭସ୍ ଓ ତିର୍ତ୍ତକ୍ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ତିଆରି କଲେ ଓ ସଂପର୍କୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଫର୍ବଯିମର ଅଦ୍ରମ୍ମଲେକ୍ ଓ ଅନମ୍ମଲେକ୍ ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ କଲେ।

ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ନିଜର ପୁତ୍ର କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତବାଣୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ୟାଦୁବିଦ୍ଯା, ଡାହାଣି ବିନ୍ଯା ଓ ଜ୍ଯୋତିଷବିଦ୍ଯାଗୁଡିକ ବ୍ଯବହାର କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କୋରଧାନିତ୍ବ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ କୁକର୍ମ କରିବାକୁ ସମାନେେ ନିଜକୁ ବିକ୍ରଯ କଲେ।

ଏକଦା ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ଆପଣା ନିଷ୍ରୋକ ନାମକ ଦବେତାକୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ପୂଜା କରିବା ବେଳେ ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ର ଅଦ୍ ରେମ୍ମଲକେ ଓ ଶ ରେତ୍ସର ତାହାକୁ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ବଧ କଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ଅରାରଟ ଦେଶକୁ ପଳାଯନ କଲେ। ଆଉ ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ର ଏସରହଦ୍ଦୋନ ତାହାର ପଦ ରେ ରାଜା ହେଲା।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏପରି କର ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଉପାସନା ସପରେି କର ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏପରି କର୍ମମାନ କରୁଥିଲେ ଯାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଆପଣା ଦବେତାଗଣଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଆପଣାର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି।
