ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 7:3
ତା'ପରେ ଶାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଯଲେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ହୃଦଯର ସହିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଖକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିଛ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିଦେଶୀ ପ୍ରତିମାଗୁଡିକୁ ଓ ଅଷ୍ଟାରୋତ ପ୍ରତିମା ଫିଙ୍ଗିଦିଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କର ଓ କବଳେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ହିଁ ସବୋ କର। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
