ୟିଶୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସେ ବଳିଦାନ ପାଇଁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କର। ତା'ପରେ କଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ହବେ ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇବି। ମୁ ଯାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିବି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ କର।

1 ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପାଖକୁ ୟାଏ, ସେ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଛାଯା ତଳେ ନିରାପତ୍ତା ପାଇଁ ବସତି କରିବ।
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଆଶ୍ରଯ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଗ, ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରେଖ।
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଗଭୀର ଜଳରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ ଓ ସର୍ବନାଶକ ମହାମାରୀରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକୟକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ନିମନ୍ତେ ୟାଇପାରିବ। ପକ୍ଷୀ ତା'ର ଛୁଆମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଡ଼ଣୋ ମଲୋଇ ରଖିଲା ଭଳି ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ରକ୍ଷାକାରୀ ଢ଼ାଲ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଦୁର୍ଗ ସ୍ବରୂପ ହବେେ।
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହବୋର ଦରକାର ନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ଦିନରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କର ବାଣ ପ୍ରତି ଭୟଭୀତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 ଅନ୍ଧକାରଗାମୀ ମହାମାରୀ, କିଅବା ମଧ୍ଯାହ୍ନରେ ସହାରକାରୀ ରୋଗ ବିଷଯରେ ଭୀତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 ତୁମ୍ଭ ପକ୍ଷରେ ହଜାର ହଜାର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନ ମାରିବା ସହଜ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଦଶ ହଜାର ଶତ୍ରୁଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବ କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଘାତପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିବ ୟେ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହାକୁ ନିଜ ଆଖିରେ ଦେଖିପାରିବ।
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ନିରାପତ୍ତାର ସ୍ଥାନ !ୟଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସୁରକ୍ଷାର ସ୍ଥାନ କରିବ।
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ବିପଦ ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ। କୌଣସି ଦୁର୍ବିପାକ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହକୁ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ।
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦବେେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁଠାକୁ ଗଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ, ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦବେେ।
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଦୂତମାନେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ, ୟପରେିକି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାଦ ପଥରରେ ବାଡ଼ଇେ ନ ହୁଏ।
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସିଂହ ଏବଂ ସର୍ପ ଉପରେ ମାଡ଼ି ଚାଲି ୟିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ୟୁବା ସିଂହ ଓ କାଳସର୍ପକୁ ପାଦତଳେ ଦଳି ଦବେ।
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ୟଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରମେ କରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉଚ୍ଚରେ ରଖିବା।
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନୁସରଣକାରୀମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଡ଼ାକିବେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଡ଼ାକ ଶୁଣିବା। ସମାନଙ୍କେ କଷ୍ଟ ସମଯରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ରହିବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ଏବଂ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦବୋ।
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଅନୁସରଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୀର୍ଘାଯୁ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା।
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
