ପିତରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ପତ୍ 2:9
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକ ଅଟ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଯାଜକ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ଜାତି ଅଟ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର କରିଥିବା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଘଟଣାମାନ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଜନକ ଆଲୋକକୁ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି।
