ପିତରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ପତ୍ 2:23
ଲୋକେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦ କଥା କହିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମନ୍ଦ କଥା କହି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ଯୀଶୁ ଯାତନା ସହିଲେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଧମକ ଦଇେ କିଛି କହି ନ ଥିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଯତ୍ନ ନବୋ ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଠା ରେ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳ ହେଲେ।
