ଦାଉଦ ସଠାେରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ସେ କ'ଣ କହିଲା? ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ଏହି ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଧ କରି ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଏହି ଅପମାନ ଦୂର କରିବ, ତାହାପ୍ରତି କ'ଣ କରାୟିବ? କିଏ ଏହି ଅସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ନତ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ୟିଏ ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯ ଛାଉଣୀକି ଅବମାନନା କରିବାକୁ ସାହାସ କରେ।

ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ମଧ୍ଯ କହିଲେ, ଆଜି ମୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସୈନ୍ଯ ବାହିନୀକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟଛ କରୁଅଛି। ମୁ ସାହାସ କରି କହକ୍ସ୍ଟଛି ମାେତେ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଦିଅ, ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରସ୍ପର ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିପାରିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ।

ଯୋନାଥନ ତାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାକାରୀ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟବକଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିଏ ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ଶସ୍ତ୍ର ବୋହିଥାଏ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିଦେଶୀଙ୍କର ଶିବିର ଆଡକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବା। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିପାରନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ଅଳ୍ପ ବା ବେଶୀ ସୈନ୍ଯ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହେି ଅଟକାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 10:10
ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସତ୍ଯ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସେ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାଯୀ ରାଜା। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ କୋପ କରନ୍ତି ପୃଥିବୀ କିତ ହୁଏ। ବିଦେଶୀ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ତାଙ୍କ କୋର୍ଧ ସହ୍ଯ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ଜୀବନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ମନ୍ଦକଥା କରିବାକୁ ତାଙ୍କର ସନୋଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ହାଇପୋ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶୁଣିପାରନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ସନୋଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ କହିଲା ଓ ଶତୃକୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବେେ। ଏଣୁ ଦୟାକରି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଜୀବିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି।'

ମୁ ସିଂହ ଓ ଭାଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଉଭୟଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବଧ କରିଛି ଏବଂ ମୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଗଲିଯାତକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେିପରି ବଧ କରିବି। ଗଲିଯାତ ମରିବ କାରଣ ସେ ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟଚ୍ଛ କରିଅଛି।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣୁ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଆସି ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୁଝିବା ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣିପାରୁ। ସହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସତ୍ଯ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସହେି ସତ୍ଯମୟ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନ ଅଛି।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଥିଲା ବେଳେ, ଯେପରି ଭଲ ଭାବରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲ, ସେ ବିଷୟ ରେ ସର୍ବତ୍ର ଲୋକମାନେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଉଛନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କିପରି ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିପୂଜା ବନ୍ଦ କରି, ଜୀବିତ ଓ ପ୍ରକୃତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସବୋ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତିତ ହେଲ, ସେ ବିଷୟ ରେ ସମାନେେ କହନ୍ତି।
ଯୋୟେଲ 2:19
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶସ୍ଯ, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଓ ତୈଳ ପ୍ରଚୁର ପରିମାଣ ରେ ଦବୋ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସେଥି ରେ ତୃପ୍ତ ହବେ। ଆଉ ଏଣିକି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ନିନ୍ଦିତ କରିବା ନାହିଁ।

ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିବାସୀଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ନିନ୍ଦା କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସାତଗୁଣ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦିଅ।
