Matthew 17:9
ଯୀଶୁ ଓ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରୁ ତଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଉଥିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ, ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯାହାସବୁ ଦେଖିଲ, ତାହା କାହାକୁ କହିବ ନାହିଁ। ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ର ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ପୁନର୍ଜୀବିତ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କର। ତା'ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ସବୁ ଦେଖିଛ, ତାହା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ କହିପାର।

ଯୀଶୁ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରୁ ତଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲଇେ ଆସୁଥିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ। ଯେ ସମାନେେ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରେ ଯାହା ସବୁ ଦେଖିଲେ ତାହା କାହାରି ଆଗ ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ର ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ପୁନରୁତ୍ଥିତ ନ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବେ। ତା ପରେ ସମାନେେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ତାହା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ପାରିବେ।

ସମାନେେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମାରି ଦବେେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ତୃତୀୟ ଦିନ ବଞ୍ଚି ଉଠିବେ। ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ମାରି ଦିଆୟିବ ବୋଲି ଖବର ଶୁଣି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ବହୁତ ମନଦୁଃଖ କଲେ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହି ଦେଉଛି ଯେ ଏଲିୟ ଆସି ସାରିଛନ୍ତି। ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଲୋକମାନେ ଯାହା ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ପ୍ରକାର ବ୍ଯବହାର କଲେ। ସହେିଭଳି ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ର ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେଠାରୁ ସହେି ପ୍ରକାର ଯାତନା ଭୋଗ କରିବେ।

ତା'ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ, ସେ ଯେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଅଟନ୍ତି କାହାକୁ ନ କହିବା ପାଇଁ।

ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, କୋକିଶିଆଳିର ଗାତ ଅଛି ଓ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କର ବସା ଅଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଗୁଞ୍ଜିବାକୁ ଜାଗା ଟିକିଏ ନାହିଁ।

ତାପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ଏ ବିଷୟ ରେ କାହାକୁ କିଛି କୁହନାହିଁ, ବରଂ ଯାଜକଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଅ ଓ ନିଜକୁ ଦଖାେଅ। ମାଶାଙ୍କେ ଆଦେଶ ଅନୁସାରେ ଦାନ ଦିଅ। ଏହା ଦ୍ବାରା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖଇେ ଦିଆଯାଇ ପାରିବ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭଲ ହାଇେ ଯାଇଛ।
