କିନ୍ତୁ ମାରେ ଡାହାଣ ବା ବାମ ପଟ ରେ କିଏ ବସିବ, ତାହା ବାଛିବାର ଅଧିକାର ମାରେ ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏହା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରା ଯାଇଛି, କବଳେ ସହେିମାନେ ସେଥି ରେ ବସି ପାରିବେ।

ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁଭଳି ଯାତନା ଭୋଗ କରିବି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ସହେିଭଳି ଯାତନା ଭୋଗ କରିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମାରେଡ଼ାହାଣ ପଟେ କିଏ ବସିବ ବା ବାମ ପଟେ କିଏ ବସିବ, ତାହା ବାଛିବାର ଅଧିକାର ମାରେ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ, କିଏ କେଉଁଠା ରେ ବସିବେ, ତାହା ମାରେ ପରମପିତା ଆଗରୁ ସ୍ଥିର କରି ସାରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ବସିବେ।

Hebrews 11:16
କିନ୍ତୁ ବାସ୍ତବିକ ସମାନେେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଅପେକ୍ଷାକୃତ ଭଲ ଦେଶ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁେଥିଳେ, ଯାହାକି ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ବର୍ଗୀୟ ଦେଶ। ତେଣୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସଙ୍କତେ କଲେ ନାହିଁ, ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଭାବରେ ପରିଚିତ ହବୋ ପାଇଁ। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଗୋଟିଏ ନଗର ତିଆରି କରି ରଖିଅଛନ୍ତି।
