ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ବାରଜଣ ପ୍ ରରେିତଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଜଣକର ନାମ ଥିଲା ଈଷ୍କରିଯୋଥ ୟିହୂଦା। ଶୟତାନ ୟିହୂଦାଙ୍କ ଶରୀର ମଧିଅରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଖରାପ କାମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଲା।

அதற்கு யோசேப்பின் சந்ததியினர்: மலைகள் எங்களுக்குப் போதாது; பள்ளத்தாக்கு நாட்டிலிருக்கிற பெத்செயானிலும், அதின் கிராமங்களிலும், யெஸ்ரயேல் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் குடியிருக்கிற எல்லாக் கானானியர்களிடமும் இரும்பு இரதங்கள் உண்டு என்றார்கள்.

யோசேப்பின் ஜனங்கள், “எங்களுக்கு எப்பிராயீமின் மலைநாடு போதுமான அளவு பெரியது அல்ல. ஆனால் அங்கு வாழும் கானானியரிடம் ஆற்றல் வாய்ந்த போர்க்கருவிகள் உள்ளன. அவர்களிடம் இரும்பாலாகிய தேர்கள் இருக்கின்றன! அந்த ஜனங்களே பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் அதிகாரம் செலுத்துகின்றனர்! யெஸ்ரேயேல் பள்ளத்தாக்கு, பெத்செயான், அங்குள்ள சிறிய ஊர்கள் ஆகியவற்றின் அதிகாரமும் அவர்களிடமே உள்ளது” என்றார்கள்.
