ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ଯ କହୁଛି। ହବେଲ ଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତପାତଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ବଦେୀ ଓ ମନ୍ଦିର ର ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥଳ ରେ ନିହତ ହାଇେଥିବା ଜିଖରିୟଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତପାତ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତପାତ ପାଇଁ ଏହି ସମୟରେ ବଞ୍ଚିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦଣ୍ଡ ଭୋଗିବାକୁ ପଡିବ।

କଯିନ ଓ ହବେଲ ଦୁ ହେଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଥିବା ହତେୁ ହବେଲ ଭଲ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ଯେ, ସେ ହବେଲ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଥିବା ବଳି ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ଥିଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ହବେଲର ବିଶ୍ବାସ ହତେୁ ତାହାକୁ ଭଲ ଲୋକ ବୋଲି କହିଲେ। ହବେଲ ମରି ଯାଇଛି କିନ୍ତୁ ନିଜ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ହତେୁ ଏବେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ସେ କଥା କହୁଛି।

ଆମ୍ଭେ କଯିନ344 ଭଳି ହବୋ ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ। କାରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ପାପାତ୍ମା ଥିଲା। ସେ ନିଜ ଭାଇ ହବେଲକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲା। ସେ ତା'ର ଭାଇକୁ କାହିଁକି ହତ୍ଯା କଲା ? ସେ ଏପରି କଲା, କାରଣ ତା'ର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମନ୍ଦ ଥିଲା ଓ ତା' ଭାଇର କର୍ମଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଭଲ ଥିଲା।

କଯିନ ତା'ର ଭାଇ ହବେଲକୁ କହିଲା, ଚ଼ାଲ କ୍ଷତକେୁ ୟିବା। ତେଣୁ କଯିନ ଏବଂ ହବେଲ କ୍ଷତକେୁ ବାହାରି ଗଲେ। ଏହାପରେ କଯିନ ହବେଲକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରି ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ଜିଖରିଯଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅବତରଣ କଲେ। ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଦା ଯାଜକ ଜିଖରିଯଙ୍କ ପିତା ଥିଲେ। ଜିଖରିଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହେଲେ ଓ କହିଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହା କହନ୍ତି : ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କାହିଁକି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାର ବାଧ୍ଯ ହବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ଯ କରୁଛ ? ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୃତକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ହବେ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଅଛ। ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି !'

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବରେିଖିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ୟିଖରିଯଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପଠାଇଲେ। ପାରସ୍ଯର ରାଜା ଦାରିଯାବସଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷର ଅଷ୍ଟମ ମାସ ରେ ଏହା ଘଟିଥିଲା। ୟିଖରିଯ ବରେିଖିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ବରେିଖିଯ ଇଦ୍ଦୋଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ।
