Leviticus 23:40
ଆଉ ତମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନ ରେ ଉତ୍ତମ ବୃକ୍ଷର ଫଳ, ବାତାପି ଗଛର ଗୋଟିଏ ପ୍ରକାର ଖଜୁର୍ର ବାହୁଙ୍ଗା, ଗହଳିଆ ବୃକ୍ଷର ଶାଖା ଓ ନଦୀ ତୀରସ୍ଥ ବାଇସୀ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଘନେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ସାତ ଦିନ ୟାଏ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବ।

| of thick | וַֽעֲנַ֥ף | waʿănap | va-uh-NAHF |
| trees, | עֵץ | ʿēṣ | ayts |
| willows and | עָבֹ֖ת | ʿābōt | ah-VOTE |
| of the brook; | וְעַרְבֵי | wĕʿarbê | veh-ar-VAY |
| rejoice shall ye and | נָ֑חַל | nāḥal | NA-hahl |
| before | וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם | ûśĕmaḥtem | oo-seh-mahk-TEM |
| the Lord | לִפְנֵ֛י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
