Jeremiah 45:4
ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବାରୂକକୁ ଏହି କଥା କୁହ, 'ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଅଛୁ, ତାହା ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇବୁ ଓ ଯାହା ରୋପଣ କରିଅଛୁ ତାହା ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କରିବୁ। ଆଉ ସମୁଦାଯ ଯିହୁଦା ରେ ଏହା କରିବୁ।

ଆଜି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନାନା ଦେଶ ଓ ରାଜ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ରେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କଲୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେସବୁକୁ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ, ଭଗ୍ନ, ବିନାଶ ଓ ନିପାତ କରିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଓ ରୋପଣ ମଧ୍ଯ କରିବ।

Jeremiah 11:17
ସୈନ୍ଯାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରୋପଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପ ରେ ମହାବିପଦ ଆସିବ। କାରଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶ ବହୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ଆଚରଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ବାଲ୍ଦବେ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଧୂପ କଳାର ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରିବା ସକାେଶ ନିଜେ ନିଜେ ତାହାସବୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
