Jeremiah 38:20
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯିରିମିୟ କହିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ବିନଯ କରୁଛି, ମାେ ଦ୍ବାରା କଥିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ଆପଣ ମାନନ୍ତୁ। ତହିଁରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହବେ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ରହିବ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶରରୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଆଣିଲୁ ତାହା ଏକ ଲୌହ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ଡ ସଦୃଶ ନାନା ଦୁଃଖ ଦୁର୍ବିପାକରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲା, ସତେିକି ବେଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣି ଏହି ଆଦେଶ ଦଇେଥିଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କର। ତାହା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକ ହବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହବୋ।
