Jeremiah 11:16
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଥରେ ସମ୍ ବୋଧନ କରିଥିଲେ, ସୁନ୍ଦର ଫଳ ରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହରିତପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜିତବୃକ୍ଷ' ବୋଲି। ମାତ୍ର ତାହା ଲୋକାରଣ୍ଯର ମହାଶବ୍ଦ ପରି ସେ ତହିଁ ଉପ ରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଜଳାଇବେ ଓ ତାହାର ଶାଖାସବୁ ଜଳି ୟିବ।

ଲୋକେ କବଳେ ଜାଳ ହବୋପାଇଁ ତାକୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ପକାନ୍ତି। ତା'ର ଦୁଇମୁଣ୍ଡ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ପୋଡ଼ିୟାଏ ଓ ମଝିଅଂଶ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧଦ' ରହେ। ତାହା କ'ଣ କୌଣସି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ଆସିବ ?
