ଶିବାର ରାଣୀ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ସୁଖ୍ଯାତି ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେ କଠିନ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଦ୍ବାରା ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ଶିବାର ରାଣୀଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଏକ ବୃହତ୍ ଦଳ ଥିଲା। ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମସଲା, ପ୍ରଚୁର ସୁନା ଓ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ପଥର ରେ ଲଦି ହାଇେଥିବା ଓଟମାନେ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଶ ଲୋମନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲେ ଓ ସେ ଯେଉଁ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଥିଲେ, ସେ ବିଷଯ ରେ ପଚାରିଲେ। ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଅନକେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଥିଲା।

ଆସା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର କୋଷାଗାରରୁ ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନାସବୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ଆଉ ସେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଗୃହ ମଧିଅରେ ଥିବା ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନାସବୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଆସା ବିନ୍ହଦଦ୍ ନିକଟକୁ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବାହକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ବିନ୍ହଦଦ୍ ଅରାମ୍ର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ ଓ ସେ ଦମ୍ମେଶକ ସହର ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଆସାଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଥିଲା :

ଯଦି ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କର ଦେଶର ଚାରିଆଡ଼କୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ କରିବେ ତବେେ ସମାନେେ କବଳେ ଦୁଃଖ ଓ ୟାତନାରୂପକ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଦେଖିବେ ଓ ସହେି ଦୁଃଖରୂପକ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଦେଖି ଦେଶ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ ହବେେ। ପୁଣି ସହେି ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ଆବଦ୍ଧ ହାଇେଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ନିଜକୁ ସେଥିରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନିଜ ନିଜର ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ଏକାଠି କରିବେ ଓ ମାୟୋବ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିବେ। ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯକୁ ଧରି ସୀମା ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି ବାଈଶୀ ବୃକ୍ଷର ସୋର୍ତ ନିକଟକୁ ନଇେଯିବେ।
