Ezra 6:5
ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଯେଉଁ ସବୁ ସୁନା ଓ ରୂପାପାତ୍ର ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ୟିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ନଇେ ବାବିଲକୁ ଆଣିଥିଲା, ତାହାସବୁ ଫରୋଇ ଦିଆଯାଉ। ଏବଂ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପାତ୍ର ପୁନର୍ବାର ୟିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ମନ୍ଦିରର ନିଜ ନିଜ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଅଣାଯାଉ। ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ତାହା ସବୁ ରଖ।

ତା'ପ ରେ ମୁଁ, ଯିରିମିୟ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଏହା କହନ୍ତି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି। ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଗଣ ଓ ଯାଜକଗଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି କହନ୍ତି ଯେ, 'ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ସମସ୍ତ ବାସନକୁସନ ଶୀଘ୍ର ବାବିଲରୁ ଅଣାୟିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ କଥା ରେ ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି।
2 Chronicles 36:6
ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଯିହୁଦାକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ। ସେ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମ୍ଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପିତ୍ତଳର ଜଞ୍ଜିର ପକାଇଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମଙ୍କୁ ବାବିଲକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ।

ବସନ୍ତ ଋତୁ ରେ, ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ୟିହୋଯାଖୀନ୍ଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ କେତକେ ଭୃତ୍ଯଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଖୀନ୍ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ଧନ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିରୁ କିଛି ବାବିଲକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରର ସିଦିକିଯଙ୍କୁ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମର ନୂତନ ରାଜା ରୂପେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ସିଦିକିଯ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରଖୀନ୍ଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଆତ୍ମୀଯ ଥିଲେ।
