Exodus 17:1
ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ସମାଜ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇେ ସୀନଯ ମରୁଭୂମିରୁ ୟାତ୍ରା କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଅନୁସାରେ ସମାନେେ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନ ଭ୍ରମଣ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ରଫୀଦୀମ ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥପନ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସଠାେରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପିଇବା ପାଣି ନଥିଲା।

ରଫୀଦୀମ ରେ ଅମାଲକେୀଯମାନେ ଆସିଲେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ।
