Ephesians 5:33
ଯାହା ହେଉନା କାହିଁକି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭିତରୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଜଣ ନିଜକୁ ଭଲ ପାଇଲା ଭଳି ନିଜ ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ଭଲ ପାଇବା ଉଚିତ ଓ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ପତ୍ନୀ ନିଜର ପତିକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।

ତୁମ୍ଭ ପତି ଦେଖିବେ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପବିତ୍ର ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରୁଛ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଦେଉଛ।

ହେ ପତ୍ନୀମାନେ ! ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେପରି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବଶୀଭୂତା ହାଇେଛ, ସପରେି ନିଜ ସ୍ବାମୀମାନଙ୍କର ବଶୀଭୂତା ହୁଅ।

ଠିକ୍ ସହେିଭଳି ପତିମାନେ ନିଜ-ନିଜ ପତ୍ନୀଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରିବା କଥା। ନିଜ ଶରୀରକୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରିଲା ଭଳି ପ୍ ରମେ କରିବା କଥା। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରେ, ସେ ନିଜ ଶରୀରକୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରେ।
