Luke 24:46
ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ମାରି ଦିଆୟିବା ଓ ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ତିନିଦିନ ପରେ ପୁଣି ସେ ବଞ୍ଚି ଉଠିବା କଥା ଲଖାେ ଅଛି।

ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ମୁଁ ଥିବା ବଳରେ କଥା ମନେ ପକାଅ। ମୁଁ କହିଥିଲି ଯେ ମାଶାଙ୍କେ ନିୟମ ରେ, ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଓ ଗୀତସଂହିତା ରେ ମାେ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଯାହା ସବୁ ଲଖାେ ଯାଇଛି, ସଗେୁଡିକ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଘଟିବ।
Luke 24:7
ଯୀଶୁ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ମନୁଷ୍ଯୁପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ହାତ ରେ କୃଶ ରେ ମାରି ଦିଆୟିବା ପାଇଁ ଅବଶ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ଦିଆୟିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ପୁଣି ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ତୃତୀୟ ଦିନ ଜୀବିତ ହାଇେ ଉଠିବେ।

ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ମହିମା ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଏଭଳି ଯାତନା ଭୋଗ କରିବେ।

ତାହାଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯତୀତ ଅନ୍ୟ କାହା ପାଖ ରେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ଏହି ଆକାଶ ତଳେ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ନାମ ନାହିଁ ଯାହା ଦ୍ବାରା କି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇପାରିବା।
