Jeremiah 42:20
ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ପ୍ରାଣ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା କରିଅଛ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ମାେତେ ପଠାଇ କହିଲ, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହା ଯାହା କହିବେ, ତଦନୁସା ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହା ପାଳନ କରିବୁ।'

ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ମାେ ଲୋକପରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି। ମାେ ଲୋକପରି ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ବସନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ କଥା ଶୁଣନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ ମାେ କଥା ମାନନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସମାନେେ କବଳେ ତାହା କରନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ସମାନେେ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହୃଦଯ ଅସାଧୁ ଲାଭ ପାଇଁ ଲୋଭି ଅଟେ।
Ezekiel 14:3
ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ର ; ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ହୃଦଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଦଇେଅଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାପ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପଥରେ ବାଧା ରୂପେ ରହିଛି। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କାହିଁକି ମାେତେ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବାକୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦବେି ?
Jeremiah 42:2
ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିବଦନେ କରୁଛୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଯିହୁଦାର ଏହି ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ବଚକ୍ଷୁ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖୁଅଛ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନକେ ଥିଲୁ, ଏବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅଳ୍ପମାତ୍ର ଅଛୁ।
Jeremiah 17:10

ଯେତବେେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପାପ ଆମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଅତ୍ଯଧିକ ହୁଏ ଓ ସହି ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ ସେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ଏକ ୟିଏ ଆମ୍ଭର ପାପକୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବ।
