ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମାେତେ କୁହ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଣ ମାରେ କର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ହାଇେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କନ୍ଯାକୁ ଦବେ? କିମ୍ବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଣ ଫରୋଇଦବେ? ମାେତେ କୁହ ତବେେ ମୁଁ ଜାଣିବି କ'ଣ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।

Genesis 32:10
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଦୟା ଦଖାଇେ ଆସିଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ବହୁତ ମଙ୍ଗଳ କରିଅଛ। ମୁଁ ସେ କୌଣସି ବିଷଯ ପାଇଁ ୟୋଗ୍ଯ ନୁହେଁ। ମୁଁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ପ୍ରଥମଥର ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀ ପାରି ହଲିେ, କବଳେ ଏ ବାଡ଼ି ଛଡ଼ା ମାରେ କିଛି ନଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମାରେପରିବାର, ଜୀବଜନ୍ତୁ ଏତେ ବେଶୀ ଯେ ଦୁଇଟା ଶିବିର ହାଇପୋ ରେ।
Numbers 20:17
ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିନଯ କରୁ ଅଛୁ, ଦୟାକରି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେଶ ଦଇେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟିବାକୁ ଦିଅ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶସ୍ଯକ୍ଷେତ୍ର କି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଦଇେ ୟିବୁ ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ତୁମ୍ଭର କୂଅରୁ ଜଳପାନ କରିବୁ ନାହିଁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ କବଳେ ରାଜପଥ ଦଇେ ଗମନ କରିବୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେଶର ସୀମା ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ କିମ୍ବା ବାମକୁ ୟିବୁ ନାହିଁ।
Deuteronomy 2:27
'ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ଦେଶ ଦଇେ ଆମ୍ଭକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦିଅ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାଟେ ବାଟେ ୟିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ବାମକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କିଅବା ଦକ୍ଷିଣକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନାହିଁ।
