ଅଶୂରର ରାଜାମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଜାତିର ଦବେତାଗୁଡିକୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଦଗ୍ଧିଭୂତ କଲେ। ଅବଶ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ଦବେତାଗଣ ନଥିଲେ। ମନୁଷ୍ଯକୃତ କାଷ୍ଠ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରର ପ୍ରତିମା ମାତ୍ର, ତେଣୁ ସହେି ରାଜାମାନେ ସଗେୁଡିକୁ ବିନାଶ କଲେ।
