ସହେି 'ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକମାନେ' ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହବେେ, ସମାନେେ ଦ୍ବନ୍ଦ ରେ ପଡ଼ିବେ ଓ ଫାନ୍ଦ ରେ ପଡ଼ିବା ପରି ଅନୁଭବ କରିବେ। ଦେଖ, ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାଖାନ କଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କିପରି 'ଜ୍ଞାନୀ' ବୋଲି ବିବଚେନା କରାୟିବ ?
Job 5:12
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମନ୍ଦ ଓ ଚତୁର ଲୋକର କାମନାକୁ ବ୍ଯର୍ଥ କରନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସଫଳତା ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

କାହିଁକି କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଜାଗତିକ ଜ୍ଞାନ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ମୂର୍ଖତା ଅଟେ। ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର କୁ ହେ ; ଯେତବେେଳେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନେ ନିଜ ଚତୁରତା ରେ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରନ୍ତି, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଧରନ୍ତି।
Isaiah 19:11
ସିୟୋନର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ନିର୍ବୋଧ। ଫାରୋର ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଉପଦେଷ୍ଟାଗଣ କୁପରାମର୍ଶ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସହେି ଅଧିପତିଗଣ ନିଜକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଏବଂ ବିଦ୍ବାନ ମନେ କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ବୈଭବଶାଳୀ ରାଜବଂଶର ଅଂଶ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି।'

ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହବେେ। ସମାନେେ କ'ଣ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରତିମାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଗୁଣୀ ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିବେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ଯାକୁବର ଓ ଗୁଣିଆମାନଙ୍କର ପରାମର୍ଶ ନବେେ। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଉପଦେଶ ଅର୍ଥହୀନ ହବେ।'
