Deuteronomy 1:1
ମାଶାେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହା କହିଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସୂଫ ସପୋରିସ୍ଥିତ ପାରଣ, ତାଫେଲ, ଲାବନ, ହତ୍େସରୋତ୍ ଓ ଦୀଷାହବର ମଧିଅରେ ସମାନେେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ନଦୀର ପୂର୍ବପାରସ୍ଥିତ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରକୁ ପାର ହେଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ ମାଶାେ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତାସବୁ କହିଥିଲେ।

ମାଶାେ ମନଃଶିର ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାଶନ ରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ଅନ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଦ୍ଧବଂଶକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପାରି ରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ। ଆହକ୍ସ୍ଟରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିଦାଯ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ।

ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନର ଆର ପରି ରେ ଓ ତହିଁ ଆଗ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଅଧିକାର ନବେୁ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଧନ ଏହି ପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାର ରହିଅଛି।

ଯଦି ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଦିଏ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସବେକଗଣକୁ ଏହି ଦେଶ ଦିଆଯାଉ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ସପୋରିକୁ ନିଆ ନଯାଉ।
