ତାହାପ ରେ ଅଧିପତିଗଣ କୁଶିର ପ୍ରପୌତ୍ର, ଶଲେିମିଯର ପୌତ୍ର, ନଥନିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ୟିହୁଦିକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ଏବଂ ତାକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚର ରେ ଯେଉଁ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକ ପାଠ କରିଅଛ, ତାହା ନଇେ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସ।

ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ କବଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶରୀରକୁ ମାରି ପାରିବେ। ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ମାରି ପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କର। ସେ କବଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶରୀର ଓ ଆତ୍ମା ଉଭୟକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରି ଦଇେ ପାରିବେ। ସେ ଶରୀର ଓ ଆତ୍ମା ଉଭୟକୁ ନର୍କକୁ ପଠଇେ ପାରିବେ।

ସାବଧାନ, ଗଧିଆମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତ ରେ ମଷେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛାଡିବା ଭଳି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାରକୁ ପଠାଉଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସାପ ଭଳି ଚତୁର ହୁଅ। କପୋତ ଭଳି ନିରୀହ ହୁଅ।

ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସିଫନିଯଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଆମାନଙ୍କେ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୋଶିୟଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ସେ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ। ସିଫନିଯ କୂଶିଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର, କୂଶି ଗଦଲିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର, ଗଦଲିଯ ଅମରିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ଅମରିଯ ହିଜକିଯଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ।

ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ର, ଏହିସବୁ ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚତୁଃପାଶର୍ବ ରେ କଣ୍ଟକ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ଏହା ସତେ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଙ୍କଡ଼ାବିଚ୍ଛାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ବାସ କରୁଅଛ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ଯାହା କୁହନ୍ତି, ସେଥି ରେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଚାହାଁଣି ଦ୍ବାରା ଆତଙ୍କିତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 41:18
ତେଣୁ ସେ ମିଶରକୁ ପଳାଇ ୟିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ବୈଥଲହେମ୍ ସହର ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ଗରେୁତ୍ତ୍ବକିମହମ ରେ କିଛି ସମୟ ଅଟକି ଥିଲେ।

ୟୋହାନନ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀର ସନୋପତିଗଣ ଗିବିଯୋନକୁ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିଲେ, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଥନୀଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଶମାଯଲେ, ଗଲିଯଦକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲା ପ ରେ, ମିସ୍ପାକୁ ନଇେ ୟାଇଥିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧିଅରେ ୟୋଦ୍ଧାଗଣ, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଲୋକ, ବାଳକଗଣ, ବାଳିକାଗଣ ଓ ନପୁଂସକଗଣ ଥିଲେ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 41:1
ଅନନ୍ତର ସପ୍ତମ ମାସ ରେ ରାଜବଂଶୀ ଇଲୀଶାମର ପୌତ୍ର ନଥନିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଶମାଯଲେ ଦଶଜଣ ପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଅହୀକାମର ପୁତ୍ର ଗଦଲିଯ ନିକଟକୁ ମିସ୍ପାକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସଠାେ ରେ ଗଦଲିଯ ସହିତ ଏକତ୍ର ଭୋଜନ କଲେ।

ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମିସ୍ଫୀକୁ ଗଦଲିଯ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧିଅରେ ନଥନିଯର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଶମାଯଲେ, କା ରହରେ ପୁତ୍ର ୟୋହାନନ୍ ଓ ଯୋନାଥନ୍, ତନ୍ହୂମତର ପୁତ୍ର ସରାଯ, ନଟୋଫାତୀଯ ଏଫଯର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଓ ମାଖାତୀଯର ପୁତ୍ର ୟାସନୀଯ ଥିଲେ।
ଯିରିମିୟ 36:21
ଏଣୁ ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମ୍ ପୁସ୍ତକ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ୟିହୁଦିକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ ଓ ସେ ଇଲୀଶାମା ଲେଖକର କୋଠରୀରୁ ତାହା ଆଣିଲେ। ତା'ପ ରେ ୟିହୁଦି ରାଜା ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଚାରି ପାଖ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇେଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସମସ୍ତ ଅଧିପତିମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚର ରେ ତାହା ପାଠ କଲେ।
